The Duo’s love of music is apparent in the band’s latest Cd release, “Classic Melodies”. Aegean Duo resides in upstate New York. The Aegean’s is an established Greek orchestra based in Western New York With performance and concert 
experience in many northeastern cities. Its Principal members have been singing and playing together since 1980, appearing On average 60 times a year. Instrumentation includes bouzouki, guitar, Keyboards, percussion, violin, accordion and others depending on requirements. The Aegean’s specialize in Greek music but also play selections From the wider Balkans and from the West. Presented styles of Greek music Include Laika (popular), Demotika (mainland folk), and Nisiotika (island), Rebetika, Macedonian and Pontic. The Aegean’s feature Rebecca McCallum, A classically trained violinist of both Greek and Irish descent, who brings The richness of both traditions to performances. The Aegean Duo is Steve Tavelaris and Nick Mouganis. Steve is the Lead bouzouki player and singer. Nick plays bouzouki and other instruments. They have been playing together for over 20 years, both as part of The Aegean’s Greek Orchestra and more recently as The Aegean Duo.
